Fluctuating bookings aren't random. They're a signal.
This audit tells you exactly which part of your content engine isn't pulling its weight. Four strategic sections, traffic light scoring, personalised next step at the end.
By the time you finish, you'll know what's underbooking you, where to start, and what to do next.

Hi, I'm Chloe.I built my own aesthetics business from zero before I became an SMM. The Underbooked → Understood framework is what I built after 12 months figuring out what actually drives bookings. This audit is the first step.
before we start
Pop your details in so I can send your results when you're done. No spam. Just your audit summary and the occasional strategy tip.
section 1
Your positioning standard.
Before content can do anything, your positioning has to be clear. If a stranger lands on your page, do they know who you are, what you do, and who you're for. Within 5 seconds?
question 1
What treatments or services do you offer?
List the top 3. This should match what's on your bio + first 9 grid posts.
question 2
What makes you different from others in your area?
Be specific. "Quality" and "experience" are not differentiators.
question 3
Who is your dream client?
Industry, age, lifestyle, what brings them to you.
question 4
If your name was removed from your page, would it look like anyone else's in your industry?
your positioning traffic light
Looking at your answers, which is the most honest read on how your positioning shows up on your page right now?
My page makes my positioning obviousAnyone landing on my profile knows who I am, what I do, and who I'm for.
It's there but not clearlyCould be sharper. A new visitor might have to scroll to figure out what I actually do.
I rely on before-and-afters to do the talkingMy grid is mostly results photos. My positioning is implied, not explicit.
section 2
What your content's actually communicating.
Your content has a job. Not "to look pretty". A strategic job. Tick the things your content is consistently doing right now (be honest):
Your traffic light score is calculated based on how many you ticked. 5-6 = green, 3-4 = amber, 0-2 = red.
section 3
Revenue and reality.
This section forces a number. Most beauty business owners post without ever connecting content to revenue. Let's connect them.
question 1
What's your target monthly revenue?
£
question 2
What's your average treatment price?
£
bookings needed per month—
That's the number your content has to actively generate. Every week without that many bookings is a content engine not matching your goals.
that's roughly per week—
your revenue & reality traffic light
How does your content stack up against the number you just saw?
I know my numbers and my content fills themEach piece of content is connected to a revenue goal. I can tell you exactly which posts converted last month.
I know my target but my content doesn't actively support itI have a target in mind, but my content is more "what should I post today" than "what does my business need this week."
I post to fill gaps, not to build demandI don't connect content to revenue. I post when I remember. Quiet weeks usually mean a flash sale or a discount.
section 4
Demand or gap-filling?
This is the section that separates strategists from posters. When your bookings drop, what do you actually do? Be honest with yourself.
question 1
When you have a quiet week, what's your default move?
Post a flash sale or discountDrop the price, fill the slots, move on.
Push my existing content harderRepost, share to stories more aggressively, send DMs to old clients.
Stick to the strategy and trust the systemI know quiet weeks happen. The work is in the engine, not in panic-posting.
question 2
Do you create content based on what YOU want to say, or what your dream client needs to HEAR?
What my dream client needs to hearI work backwards from their objections, fears, and questions. Every post answers something.
A bit of bothSome content is strategic. Some is whatever I felt like sharing that day.
What I want to sayI post what feels true to me. Whether it lands or not is luck.
Apply for full social media management. Together we diagnose, I build the strategy, then I execute it. You stay focused on running your business while your content engine runs itself.
Not ready yet? Save this page and come back when you are. The work isn't going anywhere.
If this audit shifted something for you, I'd love to hear about it. Send me a DM @bychloesocials and tell me which section caught you out. I read every message.
